M2 Global Technology, Ltd. announces
the release of two new drop-in isolators that
support the growing 2090 to 2190 and 2110 to 2170
MHz bands. These frequencies are being
used in the expanding Universal Mobile Telecommunications
Systems (UMTS) market.
The M2 Global design addresses
the increasing demand for non-beryllium oxide
components. These drop-in components
feature a 0.75"(W) x 1.00" (L) x 0.25"
(H) housing and are designed to operate over a
wide temperature range (-20° to 85° C). One
isolator has a 70-watt termination, and the other
two have a 70W attenuator with a tab that provides
20 dB or 30dB attenuation for monitoring reflected
power.
Douglas Carlberg, Chairman
of M2 Global's board of directors, commented,
"This new product release will position M2
Global as the supplier of choice in the growing
UMTS market."
