Solution to Support its Lean Manufacturing Journey

announced today that M2 Global Technology Ltd., a
worldwide supplier of microwave components and contract
manufacturing services, has implemented etfile’s electronic
document management and workflow solution into their
factory and enterprise lean journey.
“To continue our lean manufacturing journey and comply
with AS9100 requirements, we needed to focus on eliminating
waste,” noted Patti Meisetschleager, Chief Financial
Officer, M2 Global. “Using eTFile, we created
standardized, automated processes. We now
are able to scan paper documents and send emails and
other electronic documents directly into eTFile. These
documents can be accessed from any workstation at
any time, without the need for paper copies.”
M2 Global recognized the need for an automated, electronic
document management solution to eliminate the burden
of paper files and maintain their growth in contract
manufacturing services for the aerospace industry. The
company started implementing eTFile’s document management
solution in their Customer Support department. By
creating a virtually paperless sales order process,
they were able to reduce their support staff by 50
percent and accelerate customer response time. These
improvements enabled M2 Global to achieve a return
on investment with eTFile in less than one year.
