M2 Global Acquires Assets from Commercial Microwave Corporation (CMC)

M2 Global Technology, Ltd. today announced the acquisition of key product lines from Commercial Microwave Components Inc. (CMC), a Florida company that was involved in the manufacture and design of RF passive components for the telecommunications industry.  The acquired assets for the RF passive component coax and drop-in isolator and circulator product lines include intellectual property, test equipment, and other inventories.  M2 Global also hired key personnel (formerly with CMC) that were responsible for the development, marketing, and sales of the newly-acquired product lines.

“These product lines - used by various original equipment manufacturers in their products in support of cellular network rollouts - are an excellent addition to our wireless component portfolio,” said Douglas Carlberg, chairman and CEO of M2 Global.  “This acquisition, along with the addition of new personnel, will help maximize our core strength, ”Carlberg noted.
